The company was established by Stavros Drakopoulos in August 2025. He has worked exclusively on Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) for leading UK water engineering consultancies since graduating from the University of Dundee in 2016 with an MEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering.

Clients include engineering consultancies, architectural practices, planning consultants, developers, housebuilders and self-builders, across the residential, commercial, retail, leisure, education and mixed-use sectors - from householder extensions to developments of 100 units and more.

We work on a retainer or project-by-project basis.

Sustainable drainage

Outline planning stage

SuDS strategies set out how surface water runoff from a development will be managed, demonstrating that the proposals are deliverable, compliant with national and local policy, and can be accommodated within the site layout.

At outline stage the strategy establishes the drainage principles and the parameters that will govern the detailed design, rather than the design itself: the proposed discharge destination in accordance with the drainage hierarchy, the permitted discharge rate, the indicative attenuation volume required for events up to and including the 1 in 100 year plus climate change event, the SuDS components proposed and the land take they require, along with exceedance routing, water quality treatment and an outline maintenance regime.

Drainage strategy + design

Full planning stage & discharge of conditions

SuDS drainage designs are detailed schemes setting out the full surface water - and, where required, foul water - drainage arrangement for a development, at the level of detail needed for a full planning application or to discharge specific planning conditions.

Where a strategy establishes the principles, the detailed design sets them out in full: pipe and manhole invert and cover levels, gradients, attenuation structure geometry, flow control devices and treatment components, all presented on a coordinated drainage layout with supporting construction details.

Flood risk

Flood Risk Assessment

Any planning stage

Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) identify the risk of flooding to a site from fluvial, tidal, surface water, groundwater, sewer and reservoir sources, and set out proportionate measures to manage that risk over the lifetime of the development.

The quality of an FRA depends on the data behind it, and on how that data is interpreted and presented. We use the most recent information available and, where possible, GIS software to interpret and present Environment Agency flood model data clearly.
